7.1. General aspects

7.1.1. Rhuna, as defined in these Terms and Conditions, is used for the purchase of Rhuna products and services within the Untold festival and on the www.untold.com platform.

7.1.2. Through the personal account on the Untold platform (website or application), the user will be able to upload an amount of money into the system by pressing the "Top Up Account" button which, with his consent, will be converted into RHUNA and will be visible in the Account Balance section.

7.2. Using Rhuna

7.2.1. Once the amount of money has been deposited into the Account Balance and converted into RHUNA, the user will be able to use this tool to:

a) Purchase of Rhuna products and services.

b) Loading on the ticket and on the access bracelet for the purchase of products and services within the festival.

7.3. Validity and withdrawal of Rhuna

7.3.1. RHUNA loaded into the Account Balance has a validity period until December 31 of each year corresponding to the festival edition. After this period, the amounts existing in the Account Balance will expire.

Example: Money converted into RHUNA for the 2025 Untold Festival remains valid for the purchase of products and services until December 31, 2025. Money added to the personal account in 2026 will be valid for the purchase of products or services until December 31, 2026.

7.3.2. After converting the amounts of money into Rhuna, the user can no longer convert Rhuna into its equivalent in money and/or withdraw the converted amount, except in exceptional circumstances (death, inability to use the account for a long period of time, demonstrated by supporting documents).

7.4. Rewards System

7.4.1. The organizer may grant certain benefits in the form of advantages and rewards that can be used to purchase Rhuna products and services during the festival, on the Untold platform or to top-up online on the ticket.

7.4.2. These benefits, called Rewards, have the following characteristics:

● Cannot be withdrawn. Rewards cannot be converted to cash and withdrawn from the account.

● They cannot be converted into their cash equivalent.

● Expires after the end of the festival edition for which they were awarded. Example: If the user received a reward at Untold Festival in March 2026, it will be usable until the last day of Untold Festival 2026.

● The cash equivalent of the Reward will be withdrawn with priority in the case of purchasing Rhuna products and services or top-up. Example: If the user received a reward for the 2026 edition of the Utnold Festival and additionally loaded an amount of money into the Account Balance, when purchasing a product, the value of the Reward will be used first, then the loaded amount of money.

7.5. Payment processing

7.5.1 The Untold Platform uses Banca Transilvania services to load amounts of money into the Account Balance which are converted into Rhuna.

7.5.2 Online payment with your personal or company card can be made in complete safety. Cards accepted for payment are those issued under the VISA (Classic and Electron) and MASTERCARD (including Maestro, if they have a CVV2/CVC2 code).

7.5.3 Payment is based on a secure online transaction processing system that provides confidentiality, safety and simplicity in the purchase of products and services over the Internet. Card data processing is done exclusively through the bank.

7.5.4 The Organizer is not responsible for any technical or system errors that may affect the functioning of the Account.

7.5.5 The User is responsible for the security of the personal account access data and for all activities carried out under his/her account. The Organizer is not responsible for the unauthorized use of the User's personal account.

8. ONLINE TOP UP

8.1 Top Up Online is a service offered by the Festival to users, which allows them to top up their festival ticket with money by online payment or by transfer from My Balance, and the amount will be transferred to the festival wristband. This service is only available to users who have completed a valid online Check-in.

8.2 Top Up Online can only be done from cards that have 3D Secure activated.

8.3. Pre-festival Online Top Up – for users who have completed Online Check In

a) After completing the online Check-in, the ticket becomes available in the Account Balance area and you will be able to Top Up by activating the "Top Up Details" button.

b) The user can select different top up options:

○ One-time Transfer from the user's account: The selected amount that they want to load onto the bracelet is transferred only once.

○ Auto top up when the balance drops below a certain value: By activating the option, when the credit drops below a certain amount set by the user, the account ticket is automatically loaded with the set amount, taking money from the Account Balance or from the card, if Contull does not have enough funds.

c) The user will be transferred to a secure payment page, where they will need to enter their card details and the 3D Secure verification code.

d) After successful payment, the user will be able to view the total amount deposited on the ticket.

e) After completing the online Top up, the amount of money on the bracelet will need to be activated at any of the merchants within the Festival or at Credit Points.

f) After activating the top up, the User can spend the money in the Festival, at any time, throughout the entire festival period.

g) If the user has spent all their money, they can repeat the same steps described above to recharge their bracelet or they can go to any charging point - Credit Point inside the festival.

8. PAYMENT METHODS WITHIN THE FESTIVAL

8.1 The payment method for the Products and Services offered in the Festival Area is through multi-use vouchers used using payment devices (RFID), made available by Untold, through the Festipay service, respectively their activation on the bracelet.

8.2. Participants are obliged to use in the Festival Area only the payment methods and instruments established by the Organizer.

8.3 Upon entering the Festival Area, each Participant will receive a Bracelet (with integrated payment system) for access, with which they can purchase the Products and Services available within the Festival. Cash payment in the Festival Area is strictly prohibited, outside of the Credit Point areas previously established by the Organizer.

8.4 These payment instruments are considered MPV (multi-purpose vouchers), as defined by the European Commission, due to the fact that in exchange for the Credit Points on the payment instrument, the Participant can purchase services/products that have a different VAT rate. In this case, the VAT is collected upon use of the credit points. At the same time, the issuing of a tax receipt and/or an invoice for the Product/Service purchased is the responsibility of the merchants (Contractual Partners). If a Participant wishes to receive a tax invoice for the Products/Services purchased during the Festival, he/she is obliged to keep all tax receipts from each merchant (Contractual Partner) separately in order to subsequently request the tax invoice from the respective Contractual Partners.

8.5 The Organizer has the option to provide Visitors with proof that the transaction (deposit or withdrawal of funds) has been completed.

8.6 The procedure regarding transactions in the electronic system during the Festival is as follows:

a) Upon entering the Festival Area, after obtaining the Bracelet, it is recommended that each Participant go to a “Credit Points” to load their Bracelet with credit points.

b) The bracelet will be the only method of payment during the Festival.

c) The conversion for this MPV (multi-purpose voucher) is: 1 leu – 1 credit point.

d) For each load, the Organizer has the possibility, but not the obligation, to hand over to the Participant a proof of the amount deposited on the Bracelet.

e) Damaged Bracelets can be deactivated and replaced with other Bracelets at the Help Desk - Credit Point, located in the Festival Area, throughout the Festival, taking into account the provisions of point 5.3.11.

f) After obtaining a new Bracelet from the Help Desk - Credit Point, the amount held by the Participant on the damaged Bracelet will be transferred to the new Bracelet.

g) Participants have the opportunity to load their Bracelet as many times as they want, but each load must have a minimum amount of 1 leu.

h) The Participant has the right and possibility to check the amount available on the Bracelet at any Contractual Partner in the Festival Area or at the Credit Point.

i) Loading/Recharging the Bracelet can be done either by cash, by bank card or through the www.untold.com platform (for bank cards issued under the Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro logo issued by any bank in the world), according to the “Top Up Online” Chapter of these Regulations.

j) In the case of loading/reloading the Bracelet through the Site, the Participant assumes full responsibility for the card data entered into the platform.

k) The first payment made with a bank card will require the 3D Secure security code. If the first payment is authorized, subsequent payments can be made without the 3D Secure security code.

8.7 No commission is charged for bank card payments!

8.8 Purchase of Products/Services from Merchants (Contractual Partners):

a) The Participant chooses the desired Product, at which point the respective Contractual Partner checks the amount in the POS;

b) Each Participant is obliged to verify the amount checked by the Contractual Partner in the POS, and after verification, he will touch the chip on the Bracelet to the POS - contactless terminal (card-reader) to make the payment;

c) The Contractual Partners will be obliged to issue tax receipts to the client Participants (and invoices, at the request of the Participants).

9. REFUND - Return of the money remaining on the bracelet at the end of the festival

9.1 REFUND represents the action by which a festival-goer recovers the money remaining on the bracelet, under the conditions detailed in these Regulations.

9.2 Unused amounts on the RFID bracelet can be exchanged for money, through the process called REFUND, if all conditions imposed by the Festival are met.

9.3 In the event that the festival-goer has not withdrawn the unspent amounts from the bracelet or has not taken an action requesting redirection to the Account Balance, return to the card or donation of the amount by the announced date, these amounts become the property of the Festival. The refund can be made in 2 different ways.

10.1 The refund can be made in the following ways:

10.1.1 REFUND AT LOCATION

10.1.1.1 Return of amounts at any of the charging points on the Festival perimeter, at any time during the festival, and after the end of the festival, no later than the date to be announced by the Organizer.

Any request received after the date and time expressly indicated will not be taken into account by the organizer. In this situation, the organizer cannot be held liable for not refunding the amount to the festival-goer, as it is the festival-goer's exclusive duty and obligation to respect the date and time by which he can request the refund of the amounts remaining unused on the bracelet. If the festival-goer does not make the request within this term, he is solely responsible for the non-refund of the money, the organizer being free from any fault. IN THIS SENSE, WE RECOMMEND FESTIVAL-GOERS TO MAKE THE REQUEST FOR A REFUND AT THE LATEST AT THE MOMENT THEY LEAVE THE FESTIVAL ON THEIR LAST DAY OF PARTICIPATION.

10.1.1.2 The returned amount represents the entire amount remaining in the RFID Bracelet account (including those resulting from online transactions).

10.1.1.3 To obtain a Refund, the festival-goer must wear the bracelet on his/her hand and ensure that it does not show any signs of compromise (except in cases agreed by the Festival and presented in these Regulations).

10.1.1.4 If the client made the Top Up using a bank card, the maximum amount that he can withdraw in cash cannot exceed 2000 LEI.

10.1.1.5. For situations where the balance of the bracelet is greater than 2000 LEI, the client will have to present to the HelpDesk the receipt issued by the bank POS, with proof of deposit of the amount. The client will complete a refund request for this amount, which will be sent to the banking partner, no later than the date announced by the Organizer. The refund processing may take up to 14 business days. The amounts requested by completing the form will be reversed to the account from which the initial payment was made.

10.1.1.6. Owners of cardboard products can present themselves for a refund exclusively at the points at the location.

10.1.1.7. The festival-goer also has the option to donate the remaining amounts on the bracelet to a cause supported by the Organizer under the conditions set out above in point 10.4.1.1.

10.1.2. ONLINE REFUND

10.1.2.1. The Online refund process is carried out through the user's account, in the Account Balance section. The festival-goer will click the "Refund" button and will have the option on the platform to select one of the following actions regarding the amounts on the ticket:

Redirecting back to Account Balance. Amounts in Account Balance can be used to load the ticket to a new event or to purchase products and services.

Donating the amount to a cause supported by the Organizer.

Return of the amount to the card with which the charge was made.

10.1.2.2. The online refund process refers to the return of amounts originating ONLY from online transactions. The return will be made by expressing an option but no later than the date announced by the Organizer, as indicated on the platform. Any request received after this date will not be taken into account.

10.1.2.3. In this situation, the organizer cannot be held responsible for not refunding the amount, as it is the festival-goer's exclusive duty to submit the refund request within the given deadline.

10.1.2.4. For online refunds of unused amounts, a fee of 10 RON is charged – processing fee, automatically withdrawn from the festival account. There is no fee for redirecting amounts back to the Account Balance. The minimum amount for which a refund request can be made is 15 RON.

10.1.2.5. If a user has made a pre-festival Top Up and wishes a refund before the start of the Festival, he/she will only be able to do so in exceptional situations, analyzed on a case-by-case basis by the Organizer.

10.1.2.6. The festival goer is permanently shown, within the account created by him, the total amount of money he still has on the bracelet and which he can request through online REFUND.

10.1.2.7 Starting with August 14, 12:00, users have the opportunity to donate the remaining unused amounts on the bracelet directly from their personal account on the platform. www.untold.comor from the UNTOLD mobile application. The donation can be made by accessing the Account Balance section, by pressing the Refund button, followed by selecting the Donate option. This option is available until Monday, August 20, 12:00 at the latest. After this deadline, the possibility to donate the remaining balance will no longer be available.

10.2. REFUND order for the situation in which the top up was made with multiple bank cards.

Each transaction is associated with a bank card. If two loading transactions are made from two different cards, the money will be debited first from the first card with which the top-up was made. For example, if 100 Ron is first loaded from one card and then 100 Ron from a different card, and 80 Ron is spent at the festival, the remaining amount remaining in the bracelet account will be 120 RON. At REFUND, 20 RON will be returned for the first transaction (the first card from which the top-up was made online) and 100 RON on the second card, respectively for the second online transaction.

10.3. REFUND in the situation where the festival-goer has made both an online top-up and a top-up at the location:

If there is still unspent money on the bracelet, the festival-goer will be able to obtain an online refund only in the amount of the transaction he made online. For example, if a top-up of 50 RON is made online, and a top-up of 150 RON is made at the location, the bracelet balance will be 200 RON. If 70 RON is spent during the festival, a total of 130 RON will remain on the bracelet. Of this amount, the festival-goer will be able to obtain a REFUND online of only 50 RON, with the remaining money to be withdrawn at one of the charging points in the Festival, but no later than the date announced by the Organizer.

15.2 Each Participant has the obligation to demonstrate civilized behavior towards other Festival Participants.

15.3 To the extent that the Organizer considers that a Participant endangers the safety of other Participants or creates a situation of discomfort for them or behaves in a manner that affects the proper conduct of the Festival or the atmosphere of the Festival, the Organizer reserves the right to cut off that Participant's wristband and to request the assistance of the Gendarmerie or the security company to escort that Participant out of the Festival and not to allow him/her access back into the Festival.

15.4 Government agencies, MIA institutions or other authorized bodies may provide the Organizer with negative advice regarding the access of a ticket and/or subscription holder to the Festival. In such case, the Organizer is entitled to refuse entry to the event area to the Buyer, and the latter will not have any right to compensation.

15.5. Participants are fully aware and acknowledge the potential risk of exposure to COVID-19 (or other similar infectious diseases) during the Festival. The Organizer cannot and will not provide guarantees that the event area is or will remain entirely free of COVID-19 (or other similar diseases), given the unpredictable nature of the virus and other pathogens. Participants voluntarily and exclusively accept and assume full responsibility for any consequences, including, but not limited to, illness, loss, damage, or other harm of any nature, that may result from exposure to COVID-19 (or other similar conditions) while participating in the Festival.

16. RECORDINGS MADE DURING THE FESTIVAL

In addition, by purchasing a Product, the Product Buyer consents to photographs, video or audio recordings of you at the Festival or in the immediate vicinity of the entrance to the venue (“Recorded Material”) being taken by the Organizer, the venue management or any third party operating on behalf of the Organizer. You hereby agree that the Organizer, the venue management or any third party operating on behalf of the Organizer may use the Recorded Material in any way they deem appropriate, without restriction, approval or compensation in this regard.

16.2. The Organizer has the image rights over the entire Festival and may use the photo and video images, taken by both its own staff and participants, in various materials made during the Festival.

16.3 Participants acknowledge that Untold, its contracted Partners authorized by Untold, associates, members of the press, other visitors and other third parties may produce audio recordings and images of the Festival. Participants, therefore, by purchasing a Product and by virtue of their participation in the Festival, grant the Organizer permission to record and publish their image, appearance and actions in accordance with Article 15.1.

16.4 UNTOLD and persons authorized by UNTOLD have the unrestricted right to profit from, use (especially for the purpose of promoting the Festival), copy, publish, publicly broadcast and distribute such recordings of Visitors, without having to pay the Visitors for this.

16.7 Visitors may not, without the prior consent of UNTOLD, sell, use in exchange for a price or use free of charge for commercial purposes, the image and voice recordings they have made, identify Visitors appearing in those recordings without their consent, or violate the personal rights of other Visitors.

However, Untold will make every effort to provide the communicated programs and Services and, if their provision becomes impossible, to replace the canceled program or previously communicated Service with another program or Service.

17.4 Therefore, UNTOLD will not guarantee the Visitor the availability, content, quality and quantity of the programs and Services (such as the evolution or appearance on stage of a particular artist, the fact that the evolution of a particular artist will live up to the Visitor's expectations, or the opportunity to participate in a particular artistic program and/or at a particular location). In such cases, the contract is concluded directly between the Visitor and the Contractual Partner, and the rights and obligations arising from the legal relationship apply exclusively to the Visitor and the Contractual Partner.

17.7 Untold assumes no liability for damages arising from or suffered in connection with the purchase or use of Services and Products provided by Contractual Partners or for damages of any nature suffered by visitors as a result of participating in artistic moments or subsidiary activities within the Festival.

17.8 Visitors will enter the Festival exclusively at their own risk, being liable for any damages suffered by them or caused to other participants within the Festival premises. Untold will only be liable if the respective damages are caused exclusively by Untold and could not have been avoided by the Participant by taking due care in this regard.

17.9 Lost and found items can be dropped off at the information desk indicated on the map. Visitors can inquire about lost items at the same desk.

17.10 Participants are fully liable, under both civil and criminal law, for any damage they have caused to UNTOLD, its Contractual Partners and other Visitors and Third Parties during or in connection with the Festival.

17.11 Untold is not responsible for damages that may occur outside the Festival Area or on the way to or from the Festival Area.

17.12 UNTOLD has the right to terminate with immediate effect the legal relationship with the Participant (having a Ticket or Wristband) who has violated any provision of these T&Cs in relation to the Festival. In such a case, UNTOLD may invalidate the Participant's Ticket or remove the Wristband, and the Participant will be obliged to leave the Festival. UNTOLD also reserves the right to refuse the purchase of a new ticket by the respective festival-goer, for the entire duration of the festival or, in the event that he obtains a ticket to the Festival, to refuse his access to the Festival premises, without granting him any right to compensation.

17.13 In addition to the immediate termination of the legal relationship with the Participant, UNTOLD has the right to subsequently refuse his/her access to the Festival.

17.14 The Participant consents to be provided with medical treatment that may be considered appropriate in the event of injury, accident or illness during the Festival and fully releases UNTOLD and all persons participating in the provision of the respective medical treatment from liability for any such actions.
